FSSAI Registration & Renewals
Under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, every Food Business Operator (FBO) in India must obtain the appropriate FSSAI authorization before commencing operations. The various types available are:
Basic Registration: For small-scale FBOs, such as home bakers, vendors, or cottage industries with turnover up to ₹12 lakh.
State License: For medium businesses with turnover between ₹12 lakh and ₹20 crore.
