A Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number (TAN) are essential registrations under Indian tax law. What you need to begin:
Identity proof (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID)

For TAN, additional details of the deductor entity and authorised signatory are required. More documents may be requested depending on the type of entity.
